Lumina leverages Deep Retrieval & Agentic AI to augment complex research tasks. Our current focus is discovery, extraction and curation from scientific journal articles. This helps our >8000 users create and interact with multiple knowledge bases for their research queries and writing tasks. Key features include cited answers, robust extraction tables, agentic search, and an interactive reading experience.

Overtime - we will be augmenting the entire scientific process with AI. This includes data analysis, experimentation (data generation) and generating complete articles. We aim to create a near AGI experience for researchers to speed up the rate of scientific progress.

The team consists of 3 life-long friends. We've been roommates, bandmates, lab-partners and now co-founders. Collectively, our experience encompasses hard tech R&D, statistics, AI, and software engineering. These factors gave us a strong foundation for assisting the research community through neural nets.
